This might sound strange, but a healer’s job is not to heal people. Healers don’t actually have any special healing powers. That’s an ego-based belief.
A healer’s real job is to facilitate healing to occur for her client. A true healer holds space for the natural healing that is already available to the client, and help him or her to receive it.
There are 2 ways to send energy. You can either channel energy through you, or you can work with and adjust patterns of Light and Information (which is what energy is).
Channeling energy through yourself is a technique used by Reiki and other similar types of energy healing techniques. This was where I started when I first became a healer, but I now work with more advanced modalities and no longer allow energy to go through my body.
If you’re a healer and you get tired easily from doing energy healing work, it may be because you’re using a technique that channels the energy through you. If you are very sensitive to energy, then doing this will affect you in ways that you don’t like.
But there’s another way—an advanced healing technique that can be used in distance or hands on healing sessions where you’re working with Light and Information that is from the Creator and/or my guides/ETs.
In this method, sometimes the energy comes into the back of my hands, but it’s not allowed to go through my body.
Sometimes it comes into the client directly from the Creator as I direct it with my hands (think of it sort of like me pointing to the spot where it needs to go and a beam of Light/Information goes where I point).
Which of these ways do you send energy when you work with clients? Let us know in the comments below.
